If you consider yourself as a true- blue instrumentalist buff, you surely highlighted the 23rd to 25th of July 2004 in your calendars. The dates were actually the last show of the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) in Nashville. The organization has been holding their event in the city for more than a decade already so the final presentation before they moved to their new venues, both in Austin, Texas and Indianapolis, Indiana, was definitely a remarkable feat.
Yes, as its famous name implies, Nashville “Music City USA”, has countless music. Wherever one turns, there’s always an “aspiring singer” performing their latest work or singing a favorite country classic.
Of course the performances of Nashville entertainment are not just limited to “honky-tonks” and halls of music. When a visitor strolls down the “Second Avenue”, they’ll see possible “rising stars” singing their hearts out on front stoops of garments stores, or in show windows of “specialty stores”, or even small stages built in the backside of restaurants.

Nashville being the “Music City” is filled with so many aspiring singers and “wanna-be stars”. Most of them take on the competition on stage, while others venture on the streets singing their hearts out in hopes that one day they’d be noticed by record producers. It’s not surprising that even show windows of some specialty stores have singers performing in them.
