Being a strong advocate of “quality music” education, the Nashville Symphony every season, takes almost two-hundred group performances to elementary school areas to introduce symphonic music to young children. Also, more than ten-thousand students in middle school and high school attend the “Nashville Symphony’s Young People’s Concerts” every year.
Moreover, the symphony also hosts an annual “Young Musicians Concerto Competition”, and “I, Too, Have a Dream” essay competition. Over one-hundred-thousand students are given services on music education through the symphony’s different yearly education programs.
